Howards Supply strives to process most "in-house" orders within 1 business day of receipt. This time frame could be extended to 3 business days depending on order flow and weather conditions. Mondays are usually our busiest day.
Drop Shipped products could take as much as 10 business days to ship. Check the Product Details page for dropship terms.
Once processed and boxed, orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx (Federal Express) or UPS (United Parcel Service) based on cost. Larger packages (over 75 pounds) may be sent by freight, usually on a pallet. Shipping normally takes 2-5 days depending on how far the package is traveling. A tracking number will be sent to you via email. In-house orders are shipped from Akron, Ohio.
We consider your product(s) delivered when the carrier indicates the package was delivered. Due to potential package theft, signature verification is required on receipt of orders totaling $100 or more.
Most packages shipped by Howards Supply are covered by shipping insurance. If your order was damaged during shipping, we will file a claim with the carrier. Please note any package damages with the carrier upon delivery, then contact us within 24 hours to start the claims process (the shipping carrier may want to inspect it). If possible, email us photos of the damaged box and product(s).
